    Physician Assistant – Oculoplastic Surgery
     
    Carolina Eyecare Physicians
     
    Carolina Eyecare Physicians is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to work directly alongside an experienced, fellowship-trained Oculoplastic Surgeon in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity for a PA-C interested in oculoplastics, aesthetics, and procedural medicine to develop a highly specialized, hands-on clinical skill set.
    The PA will participate in patient evaluations, diagnostic testing, office-based procedures, pre- and post-operative care, and surgical support. Ophthalmology experience is preferred but not required, and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Specialty training and direct physician mentorship will be provided.

    Clinical & Procedural Experience
    The PA will gain experience evaluating and treating conditions such as eyelid lesions, chalazion, excessive tearing, eyelid malposition, trichiasis, blepharospasm, and other periocular conditions.
    As experience and competency develop, opportunities may include dedicated clinics and training in:
    • Minor eyelid procedures and lesion treatment
    • Routine post-operative care
    • Urgent oculoplastic consultations
    • Neuromodulators and cosmetic injectables
    • Nonsurgical facial and periocular rejuvenation
    Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
    • Current Physician Assistant license or eligibility for licensure
    • Interest in surgery, procedural medicine, ophthalmology, and/or aesthetics
    • Ophthalmology or surgical experience preferred but not required
    • New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
    • Ability to travel to other practice locations as necessary
