JOB SUMMARY: As a Physician Assistant Neurology yo would be reporting to the Physician Assistant (PA) Director, the General Surgery/Trauma Physician's Assistant, under the supervision of the surgeon, performs advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tasks related to surgery and trauma. Acts as a first or second assistant in surgery. Participates in pre and post-operative patient care. Complies with all appropriate safety and infection control standards. Participates in quality assessment and continuous quality improvement/performance improvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned. The Medical Staff Bylaws and Title 16 of the California Administrative Code grant the PA's privileges as outlined.
COMPENSATION RANGE:
- Hourly: $72.00 to $115.21
- Yearly: $149760 to $239200
- Sign on Bonus: Yes, up to $10,000
- Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee's qualifications, experience and personal productivity.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:
- BA or equivalent and completion of physician assistant course.
- Current CA State Physician's Assistant License granted by the Physician Assistant Examining Committee and DEA registration.
- BLS.
- ACLS.
