    Job Overview
    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in various medical disciplines -  Orthopedics experience a plus, prior experience in spine even better, demonstrating proficiency in patient care, clinical assessments, and treatment protocols. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services.     Responsibilities
    • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status.
    • Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
    • Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret results to develop effective treatment plans.
    • Manage acute pain and provide care in critical situations, including triage and emergency response.
    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in hospital settings.
    • Document patient information accurately using EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, and Athena.
    • Participate in clinical research and trials, contributing to data collection and analysis.
    • Provide education on health coaching, nutrition, and disease prevention to patients.
    • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards in all patient interactions.
    • Engage in outpatient, inpatient and surgical care.
    Experience
    Candidates should have experience or training in the following areas:
    • Orthopedics and/or spine experience with familiarity in surgical and ambulatory settings.
    • Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) and CPT coding for accurate medical documentation.
    • Experience with outpatient and hospital services, and office clinical operations.
    • Familiarity with management of chronic conditions of the back and neck.
    • Background in orthopedics and/or spine, neuro, is preferred.
    • Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and basic life support techniques. We welcome candidates who are passionate about patient care and eager to contribute their expertise within a collaborative healthcare environment.
