    AFC Urgent Care is the leading Urgent Care brand with over 300 locations nationwide offering high quality patient-centered healthcare to our communities.  Our state-of-the-art Urgent Care centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis seven days a week with lab and x-rays on-site.  We are seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our Team in San Diego, California.

    • Scheduling Options include 12 shifts monthly: 8am – 8pm. 
    • Typically 2 – 3 workdays per week, with 9 – 12-hour shifts and pre-approved overtime
    • Competitive Pay. Hourly Rate: $67-$73. Hourly Blended rate with overtime from 9 and 12 hour shifts incorporated with base rates: $74-$83.
    • Additional bi-weekly bonuses based on patient volume thresholds.
    What does AFC Urgent Care require?  
    • An unrestricted medical license in California
    • DEA Certificate
    • Must be NCCPA Board Certified
    • At least one year’s experience in an ER, Urgent Care or Primary Care setting
    • Able to treat patients of all ages and be comfortable with minor procedures (e.g., suturing lacerations, draining abscesses, etc.)
    • Available to workday, evening and weekend shifts. 
    Compensation: $67.00 - $73.00 per hour
