    Position Summary
    A well-established, not-for-profit community hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Family Medicine outpatient practice in Southbury, Connecticut. Candidates with a background in Family Medicine or primary care will be considered.

    This is a full-time, permanent outpatient position providing comprehensive primary care services to patients across all age groups. Both experienced providers and new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

    Essential Responsibilities
    Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute visits

    Diagnose, treat, and manage common medical conditions across all age groups

    Perform annual physicals, wellness visits, and health assessments

    Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results

    Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

    Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based care delivery

    Educate patients on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices

    Qualifications
    Education: Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program

    Licensure: Active Connecticut PA license (or eligibility)

    Certification: Board Certified as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)

    Training Focus: Family Medicine or Primary Care

    Experience: All experience levels welcome; new graduates encouraged to apply
