- Shift: Inpatient Clinic and Call (Weeknight beeper, 24-hour weekend beeper call)
- Shift Times: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM – 7:30 AM (night call)
- Hours per Week: Guaranteed 8 hours/day, OT applies after 8 hours/day
- Employment Type: Contract (Locum)
- License/Certs: Active CA license, DEA required, B.C. certification only
- Experience: Minimum prior experience in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery required

What You’ll Do:
- Rounding on inpatients post-op
- First assisting in surgeries, including endoscopic and radial artery harvesting
- Interpreting EKGs, X-rays, labs, ECMO readings; managing IABP and Impella devices
- Seeing patients in clinic and providing urgent care during scheduled shifts
- Covering holiday and gap shifts as needed, including scheduled orientation
What You Need:
- Active California medical license
- DEA registration
- Board Certified in specialty (B.C. only)
- Minimum experience in cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
- Skills in EKG, labs, ECMO management, IABP, and Impella support
