What Youll Do
- Round on inpatients post-operatively
- Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
- See patients in outpatient clinics, including pre- and post-op care
- Interpret EKGs, X-rays, labs, and advanced support (ECMO, IABP, Impella)
- Participate in on-call rotations involving beeper call during nights and weekends
- Support multidisciplinary teams with complex cardiac cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
What You Need
Required:- California Physician Assistant license (Active)
- DEA license
- BC in Physician Assistant
- At least 3 years of experience in cardiovascular or thoracic surgical setting
Preferred:- Experience with endoscopic and radial artery harvesting
- Skills in interpreting diagnostic tests and supporting advanced cardiac care
