Straub Benioff Medical Center Straub Benioff Medical Center is a 159-bed medical center in Honolulu. With nearly 600 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub Benioff provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular, and urology. Straub Benioff is also home to the Pacific regions only multidisciplinary Burn Care Unit. Founded in 1921 as "The Clinic," Straub Benioff has been recognized with numerous awards for quality patient safety and experience, including the Healthgrades 2022 Americas 250 Best Hospitals Award. It was also the first hospital in Hawaii to receive a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
