Opportunity:
Physician - Anesthesiology
Job Details:
- Coverage includes weekday night call and weekday clinical work shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Weekend 24-hour call coverage needs are also available
- Board certification is required with a minimum of certified status
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required
- Level 3 trauma facility
- Surgical coverage includes cardiac, complete orthopedic, complex vascular, head and spine, neuro, OB, pediatric, regional, and thoracic procedures
- General anesthesia experience expected across adult, pediatric, neonatal, and trauma populations
- Spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia skills preferred
- Obstetrical, neurosurgical, open heart, thoracic, and complex vascular case experience preferred
- Pain management techniques including post-op epidural, post-op extremity blocks, and epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical preferred
- Transforaminal procedures at both lumbar and cervical levels preferred
- Use of X-ray guidance in performance of blocks preferred
- Ventilation management and evaluation of acute volume and blood pressure issues preferred
- Central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement experience preferred
- CRNA supervision experience preferred
- Fellowship training preferred
