Physician - Anesthesiology

Job Details:

• 4:1 supervision ratio with medically directed CRNA oversight
• 
  
• Must be able to run own room independently when necessary
• 
  
• Work in 19 operating rooms, 5 endoscopy rooms, and 1 maternity unit
• 
  
• Schedule: May 26-29, 6am start for orientation first day only, 7am-3pm thereafter
• 
  
• May be asked to stay later for add-on cases as needed
• 
  
• Provide anesthesia for cardiac, complete orthopedic, complex vascular, obstetric, pediatric, regional, and thoracic surgeries
• 
  
• Perform general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients
• 
  
• Administer spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
• 
  
• Handle obstetrical cases and complex orthopedic procedures
• 
  
• Manage open heart anesthesia and thoracic cases
• 
  
• Perform post-operative epidural and extremity blocks
• 
  
• Conduct epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical regions
• 
  
• Utilize x-ray guidance for block procedures
• 
  
• Manage ventilation and acute volume/BP issues
• 
  
• Place central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters
• 
  
• Board certification required with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
