Opportunity:
Physician - Anesthesiology
Job Details:
- 4:1 supervision ratio with medically directed CRNA oversight
- Must be able to run own room independently when necessary
- Work in 19 operating rooms, 5 endoscopy rooms, and 1 maternity unit
- Schedule: May 26-29, 6am start for orientation first day only, 7am-3pm thereafter
- May be asked to stay later for add-on cases as needed
- Provide anesthesia for cardiac, complete orthopedic, complex vascular, obstetric, pediatric, regional, and thoracic surgeries
- Perform general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients
- Administer spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
- Handle obstetrical cases and complex orthopedic procedures
- Manage open heart anesthesia and thoracic cases
- Perform post-operative epidural and extremity blocks
- Conduct epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical regions
- Utilize x-ray guidance for block procedures
- Manage ventilation and acute volume/BP issues
- Place central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters
- Board certification required with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
