Opportunity:
Physician - Anesthesiology
Job Details:
- Provide medical direction and CRNA supervision
- Infrequent call coverage required
- May be required to work at other facilities as needed
- Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)
- ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Trauma Level 3 facility
- Surgical case types include: complete orthopedic, complex vascular, head and spine, neuro, OB, regional, and thoracic
- Required anesthesia skills include: general anesthesia (adult, pediatric, neonatal, and trauma), spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, obstetrical cases, neurosurgical cases, and complex vascular and orthopedic cases
- Pain management techniques required including post-op epidural, post-op extremity blocks, epidural steroid injections (lumbar and cervical), and transforaminal injections (lumbar and cervical)
- Procedural skills required include: central line placement, arterial line placement, PA catheter placement, use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks, ventilation management, and evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
- CRNA supervision required
