    Opportunity:

    Physician - Anesthesiology


    Job Details:

    • 5 general full-time physicians needed

    • Schedule includes a mix of on-site, restricted call, and unrestricted daily call including weekends

    • Generalist hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

    • OB/Trauma hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

    • OB/Trauma Restricted Call: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

    • Weekend and Holiday OB/Trauma Restricted Call: 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM

    • Weekend and Holiday General Unrestricted Call: 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM

    • On-site expectations include supervising 1 to 3 operating rooms under a care team model

    • Care team model with CRNAs; supervisory responsibilities required

    • Case types include Level II Trauma, Level III NICU, Cardiac, ENT, GI, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pulmonary, General Surgery, Urology, and Bariatrics

    • Level II facility functioning as a Level I Trauma Center

    • Board eligible and board certified candidates will be considered

    • Experience preferred but new graduates will be considered

    • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

    This facility is a full-service acute care hospital offering a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services to the greater Houston area. Operating as a Level II Trauma Center with Level III NICU capabilities, the hospital supports a broad spectrum of specialties including cardiac care, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, and bariatrics. The anesthesiology department utilizes a care team model with CRNAs, providing a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment.
