Physician - Anesthesiology
Job Details:
- Two full-time Locum Anesthesiologist positions available for FMLA coverage
- Hospital-based operating room setting
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- No on-call requirements
- Average of 50-60 surgical cases per day
- Mix of practicing solo and supervising CRNAs in a care team model
- Anesthesia cart preparation is not required
- Patient age demographic ranges from neonatal to adult
- Provide pediatric anesthesia services across all subspecialties with the exception of cardiac surgery and transplant surgery
- Required procedures include general surgical cases (neonatal, pediatric, and adult), thoracic cases (except open heart), complex orthopedic cases, neurosurgical cases, and ventilation management
- Preferred procedures include insertion of arterial lines and evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology required
- Completed Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship required
- Active Ohio license required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Clean background with no malpractice history preferred
