Overview:
The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy patient treatment within the established plan of care and treatment protocols and under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Education
- Associate's Degree; Graduate from an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistant approved by the Council of Medical Education in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Florida.
- BLS from the American Heart Association
Required Experience
- Less than one year clinical experience in area of job opening (Acute, outpatient, etc.). Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services preferred
Necessary Skills
- Demonstrates knowledge and skill in a broad range of Physical Therapy treatment interventions
- Demonstrate strong communication skills. Proactive, positive approach to problem solving
- Demonstrates strong ability to use computer, Microsoft Office suite.
- Able to work independently
