Location: Fargo, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Full Time
Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,800/week based on experience

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Physical Therapists with implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, mobility assistance, and rehabilitation treatments
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising therapists
  • Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and progress notes
  • Educate patients and family members on therapy techniques and recovery plans
  • Maintain compliance with facility standards, state regulations, and patient safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure positive patient outcomes
  • Utilize rehabilitation equipment and modalities safely and effectively
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a fast-paced clinical environment

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active North Dakota PTA license or compact eligibility
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
  • Minimum of one year of PTA experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical settings and patient populations
  • Excellent time management and documentation abilities
