Position Overview
Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a rehabilitation facility in Rolla, MO.
The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care, assist with rehabilitation treatments, and support patients in improving mobility and function across a wide range of conditions.
This role involves direct patient interaction, collaboration with care teams, and active participation in rehabilitation programs.

Clinical Coverage Areas
Therapists will assist in treating:

Strength and balance deficits

Geriatric rehabilitation cases

Key Responsibilities
-
Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
-
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
-
Perform balance training and functional activities
-
Monitor patient response and report progress to supervising PT
-
Help patients transition safely (wheelchair, walker, etc.)

Educate patients and families on home care techniques
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas

Complete documentation and administrative tasks
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of PTA experience
LTC or Rehab experience required
Active Missouri PTA License
BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Experience working with diverse patient populations

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced rehab setting
