    Rolla, Missouri
    Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (April 7, 2026 – July 7, 2026)
    Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,639.68
    Schedule: Day Shift | 8-Hour Days | 40 Hours

    Position Overview

    Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a rehabilitation facility in Rolla, MO.

    The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care, assist with rehabilitation treatments, and support patients in improving mobility and function across a wide range of conditions.

    This role involves direct patient interaction, collaboration with care teams, and active participation in rehabilitation programs.

    Clinical Coverage Areas

    Therapists will assist in treating:

    • Post-surgical recovery patients
    • Mobility and functional impairments
    • Strength and balance deficits
    • Geriatric rehabilitation cases
    • Long-term care residents

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
    • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
    • Perform balance training and functional activities
    • Monitor patient response and report progress to supervising PT
    • Help patients transition safely (wheelchair, walker, etc.)
    • Educate patients and families on home care techniques
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas
    • Complete documentation and administrative tasks

    Required Qualifications

    Minimum 1 year of PTA experience
    LTC or Rehab experience required
    Active Missouri PTA License
    BLS Certification

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong teamwork and communication skills
    • Experience working with diverse patient populations
    • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced rehab setting

    Scheduling & Assignment Details

    • Day shift | 8-hour shifts
    • 40 hours per week
    • No on-call requirements
    • No weekend requirements
