ResponsibilitiesSupports Physical Therapists in providing treatments to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and manage physical disabilities. Works under the direction and supervision of a licensed PT, implementing prescribed treatment plans and monitoring patient progress.Provide and document patient careProvide and document physical therapy treatment to patientsSupervise assigned staffInteract and practice in collaboration with other professionalsIndividuals must comply with the Texas Physical Therapy Practice Acts and Rules QualificationsJob Requirements:Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.Preferred Job Requirements:Previous acute care, rehab, or outpatient experience.
