Pride Health is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Home Health to support our client's healthcare facility in Morgan City, LA.

Job Details:

Schedule: 8 hrs/ day; 40 hrs/ week

Location: Morgan City, LA, 70380

Float / Coverage Area: Entire Care Center coverage area

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay Range: $38.00 to $41.00/hour*

Mileage Reimbursement Rate (if applicable): $0.51/ mile

• Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Provide skilled home health physical therapy treatments under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist (PT), implement individualized exercise and treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and document all visits accurately while meeting a productivity expectation of 30 points per week.
• Collaborate closely with the supervising PT to communicate patient status, assist with ongoing assessments and plan of care implementation, educate patients and caregivers on safe mobility and therapeutic exercises, and maintain timely, compliant documentation in Homecare Homebase (HCHB) across the assigned care center coverage area.

Requirements:

• Previous HH and HCHB experience
• PTA license.
