    What you will do:
    The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides direct patient care services in accordance with the law and state practice act and as directed by a plan of care formulated by a Licensed Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist Assistant may also supervise and delegate appropriate functions to the Rehab Technician.

    Required Education:
    Associates degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant

    Required Technical Skills:
    Basic computer skills, good interpersonal skills, basic organizational and time management skills, basic knowledge and skills to care for the physical needs of the population served.

    Preferred Technical Skills:
    Advanced skills/education in specialty areas of practice

    Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:
    Current Texas license as a Physical Therapist Assistant and BLS

    Required Experience:
    Work/educational experience in healthcare field

    Preferred Experience:
    One year experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a healthcare setting.
