Job Description:

Help patients get stronger where it matters most: at home.

At Elara Caring, you’ll work one-on-one with patients as they rebuild strength, improve mobility, and regain confidence in their daily routines. You’ll have the independence of working in the field and the support of a collaborative therapy team.

Working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you’ll provide treatment in patients’ homes according to their plan of care. You’ll help patients practice safe movement and use assistive devices, teach home exercises to patients and caregivers, and promptly share changes in a patient’s condition with the Physical Therapist.

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• A current, unrestricted PTA license in the state where you’ll work
• A valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned coverage area
• Six months of PTA experience preferred
• Ability to meet the physical demands of patient care, including lifting, positioning, and transfers
