Position Title: Physical Therapists
Location: Batavia NY 14020
Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: 25 hours per week for 12 weeks
Pay rate: 70$/hr.Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:- Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Minimum of one (1) year of post-licensure physical therapy experience.
- Experience working with children with disabilities, preferably in a school-based setting.
- Experience working with students with multiple disabilities and/or visual impairments preferred.
- Ability to conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide hands-on physical therapy services.
- Experience with IEP documentation, progress reporting, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Successful completion of required background checks, including criminal history and sexual offender registry screenings.
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]- Provide direct physical therapy services to students with disabilities according to established treatment plans and student needs.
- Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and prepare required therapy reports and documentation.
- Participate as a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and collaborate with school staff, families, and service providers.
- Complete session notes, quarterly reports, and IEP-related documentation.
- Provide classroom consultation, adaptive equipment recommendations, and staff guidance.
- Manage assigned caseload and monitor therapy services to ensure effective treatment delivery.
- Deliver hands-on treatment interventions to improve students' mobility, functional skills, and independence.
