    Description

    Position: Physical Therapist 

    Salary Range: $44.00 - $50.00 per hour

    Hours: 30 hours per week, 5 days a week

    Weekend Rotation: None

    Experience Level: Experienced (No new graduates)

    Job Description:

    Our assisted living community is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work with residents in our assisted living, independent living, and memory care areas to help improve their physical health and overall well-being.

    Responsibilities:

    - Conduct initial evaluations and assessments to determine residents' physical abilities and limitations

    - Develop personalized treatment plans for each resident based on their specific needs and goals

    - Implement and monitor treatment plans, adjusting as needed to ensure progress

    - Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to improve strength, mobility, balance, and coordination

    - Educate residents and their families on proper techniques for managing their conditions and preventing injuries

    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and nurses, to provide comprehensive care for residents

    - Document and maintain accurate records of residents' progress and treatment plans

    Qualifications:

    - Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy

    - Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist

    - Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist

    - Experience working with older adults and individuals with varying levels of physical abilities

    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

    - Familiarity with electronic medical records systems preferred
