    Exciting Opportunity in the Rigby, ID area: Outpatient Pediatric Physical Therapist – PT. New Grads are welcome! Mentorship available. 

    PediaStaff is a trusted leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing solutions, connecting passionate professionals with rewarding school-based and clinic opportunities since 2004. We're currently seeking a full-time Pediatric Physical Therapist in the Rigby, ID area.
     
    Qualifications: 
    • Appropriate Degree in Physical Therapy
    • Physical Therapist Idaho License
    • New graduates are welcome- mentorship is available

    Role Overview:
    A Pediatric Physical Therapist will complete skilled assessments using a variety of standardized assessment tool to develop the patient’s plan of care with the child’s family. The therapist will implement research-based intervention to a diverse population of clients (birth to young adult) as part of an interdisciplinary team consisting of OTs, PTs, SLPs and caregivers.

    Position Details:
    • In-person only
    • Setting: Outpatient Clinic 
    • Caseload: birth to young adult
    Key Responsibilities: 
    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric clients.
    • Deliver engaging, evidence-based physical therapy services in a clinic setting.
    • Supervise PTA-level providers when applicable to ensure continuity of care.
    • Instruct patient/family/caregiver in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and/or prosthetic devices to be used outside of therapy sessions

    • We have continuing education program that covers yearly CEU requirements for Idaho licensure and national certification.
    • We offer flexible scheduling with the option to work 5 days a week or 4 days a week.  Each therapist's schedule is built with the individual therapist.  Most therapists either work 8-5 or 9-5pm.  Some take every other Friday afternoon off or another day if it’s better for their schedule.
    • Clinic case load is generally scheduled for 8-9 patients a day (hour long sessions).
    • School team members may see 8-10 students (half hour sessions) or fewer if there are IEPs scheduled.
    • We offer annual performance reviews with wage increases.
