    POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
    Develops, implements, and evaluates professionally competent, comprehensive individual and group treatment programs for all medically referred patients. Participates and initiates educational, administrative, managerial, and quality control duties. Performs professionally competent physical therapy treatment programs and related documentation on all assigned patient programs efficiently and timely. Participates with other members of the health care team to achieve maximum patient benefit and efficiency. Participates in and contributes to educational programs. Serves as a Clinical Instructor for various levels of physical therapist and/or physical therapist assistant students as assigned. Assists with supervision and evaluation of assigned staff or volunteers.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Two years’ experience as a physical therapist is required. Supervisory and/or clinical teaching experience and additional clinical experience is preferred. Meets clinical and leadership activities and behaviors as defined in the clinical ladder or equivalent.

    LICENSURE
    Licensure by the Executive Council of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners as an Physical Therapist is required. Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card. Ambulatory Therapist must be a participating Medicaid and Medicare provider or be eligible to obtain a Medicaid and Medicare provider number.
