Respiratory & Rehabilitation of Rhode Island is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated in-house rehabilitation team. We are hiring for both Full-Time and Per Diem positions. If you are passionate about helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life, we would love to hear from you!
Our rehabilitation team is committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment where therapists are empowered to make a meaningful impact every day.
The Physical Therapist evaluates, develops, and implements individualized treatment plans designed to restore function, reduce pain, improve mobility, and maximize each patient's independence. The PT works closely with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide skilled physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established standards of practice.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
Accurately complete all required clinical documentation.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and home exercise programs.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
Participate in care conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current Rhode Island Physical Therapist license in good standing.
Current CPR certification (preferred).
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care is preferred but not required.
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the rehabilitation team.
