Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a dynamic outpatient-focused role with acute care float responsibilities in Tulsa, OK.
This position is based in a Level III Trauma acute care hospital, where the therapist will primarily treat outpatient cases while also supporting inpatient services as needed. The role requires strong clinical versatility, as therapists may float between outpatient and acute care settings.
You will work alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to a diverse patient population.
Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and mobility training
Manage an average caseload of ~8 patients per day
Float to inpatient acute care units as required
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC
Educate patients and caregivers on recovery plans and home exercise programs
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience (hospital setting required) Active Oklahoma PT License or Compact License (required at submission) BLS Certification (AHA) Experience with EPIC charting (preferred/expected) Prior travel experience required

Experience in trauma or hospital-based settings
Strong adaptability in float roles
Scheduling & Assignment Details
40 hours guaranteed per week
Monday – Friday schedule
Occasional weekend coverage (1–2 shifts per month)
No on-call requirements
Block scheduling may be available
Important Notes
Floating required between outpatient and inpatient settings
Locals accepted at same rate
Strict attendance policy: Missed shifts count as unexcused (risk of contract termination)
RTO limit: Maximum 5 days (no holidays, must be submitted upfront)
No pending license accepted – must be active at submission
Travelers must complete compliance labs within 48–72 hours of signing

Candidates must complete all onboarding requirements including:
Active state licensure verification
BLS certification (AHA required)
Skills checklist and competency validation
One recent supervisor reference (within past year)
Completion of pre-start modules (non-billable)
