Position Overview
Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an acute care hospital assignment in Charleston, SC.
The Physical Therapist will work in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center, providing evaluation and treatment for adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. This role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery, mobility, and discharge planning.

Clinical Coverage Areas
Therapists will treat patients in:
Medical-Surgical units
Orthopedics (including total joints)
Trauma care
Neurology and neurosurgery
General medicine and transplant cases
Key Responsibilities
Perform patient evaluations and mobility assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions including gait training and functional mobility
Assist in discharge planning and care transitions
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment as needed
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in EPIC
Required Qualifications
Active South Carolina Physical Therapist License (or proof of application) BLS Certification (AHA) Minimum 1 year of acute care experience Experience working with adult patient populations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in acute care hospital settings
Exposure to trauma, ortho, neuro, and med-surg patients
Strong adaptability in fast-paced environments
Scheduling & Assignment Details
Monday – Friday schedule
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM shifts
Weekend rotation (~2–3 weekends during contract with comp days)
