    We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to help improve the quality of life for residents at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Hornell, NY.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating residents to help them achieve long-term health benefits and improve their overall mobility and quality of life.

    • Evaluate residents' conditions and develop individualized physical rehabilitation plans.
    • Help residents improve mobility and functional independence.
    • Relieve pain using exercises, hands-on therapy, stretching, and physical therapy devices.
    • Assist residents in using physical therapy equipment effectively.
    • Guide residents through therapy tasks, monitoring their performance and progress.
    • Inform residents about what they should expect at different stages of their recovery.
    • Supervise physical therapy assistants when required.
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
    • Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
    • Contribute to interdisciplinary team efforts to ensure comprehensive resident care.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
    • Current New York State PT License.
    • Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care settings preferred.
