Position Title: Physical Therapists
Location: New York, NY 10035
Duration: 2 years
Work Schedule: Day
Pay rate: 55-60$/hr.Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:- Conduct initial evaluations and functional assessments for newly admitted patients and patients returning from outside hospitalization.
- Develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatments and therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and function.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Educate patients, families, and direct care staff on treatment goals, rehabilitation techniques, and fall/injury prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care and participate in safety-related committees as required.
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a NYSED-registered, CAPTE-accredited, or equivalent international program.
- Active New York State Physical Therapy license in good standing.
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- Minimum of one (1) year of professional physical therapy experience.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation and clinical record management.
- Excellent communication, patient education, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet background check and vaccination requirements.
