Physical Therapist (PT) Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide skilled physical therapy services to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence
  • Implement evidence-based rehabilitation interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, treatment plans, and safety techniques
  • Document patient progress accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
  • Assist residents in achieving their highest practical level of function and quality of life

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current and active California Physical Therapist (PT) License
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care

Preferred:

  • Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Post-Acute Care, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, or Geriatric Care
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
