    Muncy Place is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated rehabilitation team.     What You'll Do

    Evaluate, Treat & Inspire Progress

    • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, reassessments, and treatments.
    • Develop individualized plans of care based on physician referrals, patient goals, and clinical findings.
    • Modify treatment plans as patients progress and their needs change.
    • Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, endurance, and overall function.
    • Collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs to ensure continuity and effectiveness of care.

    Collaborate with the Care Team

    • Communicate patient progress, recommendations, and treatment outcomes with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
    • Provide education and home exercise programs to patients and families to support continued success beyond therapy sessions.
    • Serve as a resource and advocate for patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

    Maintain Clinical Excellence

    • Complete accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and treatment records.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory, organizational, and department standards.
    • Complete charge capture and required statistical reporting accurately.

    • Attend department meetings, in-services, and quality improvement initiatives.
    • May serve as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students, residents, and fellows.

    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA.
    • Current Physical Therapist (PT license in the state of Pennsylvania.
    • CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS certification (AHA-approved, including skills demonstration within 30 days of hire.
    • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient care skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
    • Knowledge of human growth and development across the lifespan.

    Preferred

    • Experience working in a rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or post-acute care setting.
    • Interest in mentoring students and participating in clinical education programs.
    • Commitment to continuing education and professional development.

    Required Clearances

    • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance
    • OAPSA Clearance

    May work in areas where medications are stored; no direct medication handling is required.
