    Job Description

    The Physical Therapist II reports to the lead Physical Therapist III. The Physical Therapist II develops and provides optimal patient care by planning and implementing a physical therapy program for individuals based on age-specific and population-specific needs utilizing a developmental and patient-family-directed approach. Under the general supervision of the lead Physical Therapist III functions as a staff therapist. Patient populations served include infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric for a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to neurologic, orthopedic, post-surgical, pediatric, medically complex, inpatient, or outpatient throughout the hospital system.

    Education Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program

    Experience Less than one year experience as a physical therapist. New Grads welcome

    Licensure Physical Therapist by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners

    Current American Heart Association AHA Basic Life Support BLS certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
