What You’ll Do:

• Provide skilled physical therapy services to home health patients with conditions such as wound care, heart failure, and diabetes
• Administer IV therapy, and manage Foley catheter and PICC lines
• Develop, implement, and modify patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and health management
• Document treatment progress in Meditech Home Care EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Travel throughout a 50-mile radius covering various patient locations

What You Need:

• Required: Valid Physical Therapist license in Louisiana, BLS certification
• Preferred: ER and ICU experience
• Key skills: General medical/surgical skills, patient education, IV therapy, and line maintenance
• Other requirements: Valid driver’s license, willingness to float across multiple sites, ability to work independently

The assignment includes a 1-week orientation, with weekend rotations every 4th weekend, and on-call responsibilities discussed during interview.
