Job Description
On-SiteStaff Physical TherapistSpectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a prior Military or Civilian Staff Physical Therapist.
Location: Fairfax Ambulatory Care Clinic, Fairfax, Virginia
Schedule: Full-time/Part-Time - Monday-Friday
Requirements:
- Education: Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college of Physical Therapy
- Preferred - Sports Medicine
- License: Must have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience within the preceding three (3) years
- Certifications: Must have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen
- Communication: Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members
- Technical Skills: Must have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in basic word processing, data entry, and automated records

What You'll Do (but not limited to):
- Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities
- Restore, maintain, and promote optimal physical function, wellness, fitness, and quality of life as it relates to neuromusculoskeletal health
- Prevent the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that may result from diseases, disorders, conditions, or injuries
- Provide orthopedic clinical care for ages 15-64, including active-duty service members, retirees, and their family members
