Physical Therapist - Contract

Skills required Manual therapy, exercise, mechanical traction, lite gait, education, PNS (pain neuroscience), Preferred: vestibular trained, dry needling, blood flow restrictions. Equipment: hand weights, TheraBand, resistance machines, aerobic equipment, bikes, new steps, treadmills, Floating: If yes, where: If have a MI license, could float to Michigan Outpatient PT.

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 8hr Day Shift (40)

Shift Information: Manager can be flexible on 5 8h shifts or 4 10h shifts. If working 8h shifts, will need to stay until 1730 a few days a week

Clinical Interviewing- Yes, with manager approval

On Call, Call Back Requirements: None

Weekend Rotation: None

Holiday Requirements: 50% of holidays in contract or every other holidays Clinic is closed day of holidays, but open eves and day after holidays

Floating Requirements: If have a MI license, could float to Michigan Outpatient PT. Would know in advance, about 30 minutes away.

About Facility:

• Outpatient rehab is located 1.5 miles away from the Aurora Bay Area Hospital (55 Bed Community Hospital, 1 hour north of Green Bay)

Unit Information:

• Beds: N/A
• Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience: Yes
• Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes

Patient Types:

• Adolescents (approx. 5% of cases and experience not needed) to Geriatrics - general orthopedics, low back pain, hip and knee pain, post-surgical, falls, work-based injuries, general neuro
• Daily Case Load:
  • About 10 patients per 8h Days

Required Certifications:

• BLS, WI state license
• Bachelor s degree or above

Skills required

• Other PTs
• 2-3 PTA
• Manager/Supervisor, onsite and via phone
• Schedulers to schedule visits;
• Multidiscipline team with OT and SLP

Charting System:

• EPIC – preferred
• Equipment: hand weights, TheraBand, resistance machines, aerobic equipment, bikes, new steps, treadmills,

Floating: If yes, where:

• If have a MI license, could float to Michigan Outpatient PT.
• Would know in advance, about 30 minutes away.

Orientation: (facility and unit)

• 1-3 days based on comfort

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: None
• Will they be on call: No call
• Holiday Expectations: 50% of holidays in contract or every other holidays
  • Clinic is closed day of holidays, but open eves and day after holidays
