Basic Life Support (BLS), Hospital, Identify Issues, Patient Assessment, Physical Therapy, Prescription Drugs, Treatment Plan
Department: Physical Therapy- China Township- River District Hospital
CONTINGENT - Day shift -7:30am-5:00pm- OUT Patient PT experience preferred. Minimum Shift Requirements: Weekday with rotating weekends - Hours varied- clinic open 2 nights per week until 6:00pm
Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
Responsibilities:
- Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.
- Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.
- Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
- Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
- BLS Provider through the American Heart Association required
- Current State of Michigan Licensure- Physical Therapy
