Physical Therapist

Pay Rate: $68 - $76 per hour
Shift Timings: 5x8s, 8am start time, weekend rotation. Holidays as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience in an acute care setting.
• Must be familiar with the acute care hospital setting.
• Excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques.
• Good communicator and comfortable working with other members of the healthcare team (i.e. nursing, MD, Case management).
• Team player with strong time management skills.
• Self-directed, flexible and able to multitask.
• Required Certifications: MA PT licensure, CPR certification (AHA BLS healthcare provider).

Preferred Skills:

• Over 2 years of overall experience in physical therapy.

Department Details:

• Inpatient Rehab department consists of PT and OT.
• Coverage provided throughout the inpatient floors of the hospital.
• Patients range from birth through elderly age with varying impairments related to musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical diagnoses.
