Pay Range: $27.00–$35.75 per hour, based on experience

Job Overview

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join an outpatient therapy team in Winterset, Iowa.

This position is ideal for a PTA who enjoys working in a patient-focused outpatient setting, values flexible scheduling, and wants to be part of a therapist-owned and therapist-managed organization. The team provides individualized therapy services and focuses on strong communication, patient-centered treatment plans, and helping patients reach their functional goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist with patient care and treatment plans.
• Provide direct treatment to patients according to the established plan of care.
• Collect assessment data as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist with patient screens under the direction of the supervising therapist.
• Educate and train patients, caregivers, and families based on the care plan.
• Participate in the clinical team process and support therapy program development.
• Prepare treatment materials and assist with documentation or clerical duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the therapy team.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an APTA-accredited program.
• Active Iowa PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good time management, organization, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, patients, caregivers, and clinical staff.
