    Overview
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement patient care plans, assist in rehabilitation exercises, and provide support to patients in out patient setting. Your expertise in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology will be essential in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients.

     

    • Provide direct patient care, including administering therapeutic exercises and modalities under the guidance of a licensed therapist.

     

    • Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.

     

    • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and discharge planning.

     

    • Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and any changes in condition.

     

    • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to clinic protocols and safety guidelines.

     

    • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and outcomes.

     

    Requirements

     

    • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

     

    • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and orthopedics is essential.

     

    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

     

    • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

     

    • Previous experience in a out patient setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

     

    • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with compassion and professionalism.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

     

    Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour

     

    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
