    About the Role:

At our Stanton clinic, you’ll provide hands-on outpatient orthopedic treatment in a role where current manual therapy skills matter more than a fixed number of years of experience. You’ll spend the first 30 minutes of each approximately one-hour visit one-on-one with the patient, followed by aide support.

This opportunity suits a PTA who enjoys direct patient interaction and is comfortable adopting EMR systems, AI-assisted documentation, and new workflows.

Salary: Approximately $5,833-$7,083 in monthly base pay, equivalent to roughly $70,000-$85,000 annually.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver hands-on manual therapy as a central part of outpatient orthopedic patient care.
    • Make the first 30 minutes of each visit focused, one-on-one treatment time.
    • Help patients feel comfortable and engaged through clear explanations and personable communication.
    • Support smooth transitions to the aide-assisted portion of each approximately one-hour visit.
    • Maintain clear, current treatment documentation using the clinic’s EMR and documentation workflows.
    • Learn and adopt AI-assisted documentation and other technologies introduced into the clinic’s workflow.

    Requirements

    Must-Have:

    • An active California Physical Therapist Assistant license.
    • Recent, ongoing clinical manual therapy experience. School-only exposure or older experience without recent practice is not sufficient.
    • Manual therapy experience beyond skilled nursing or home health; experience limited to those settings does not meet the role’s requirements.
    • Strong hands-on treatment skills and a patient-focused, personable communication style.
    • Comfort adopting EMR systems, AI-assisted documentation, and new technologies or workflows.
    • Availability to work on-site in Stanton, Monday-Friday, within the clinic’s scheduling window.

    Nice to Have:

    • Outpatient orthopedic experience, particularly in a manual therapy-focused physical therapy setting.
