Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) -PRN

The Opportunity

Premier Therapy is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to help deliver high-quality rehab services that support residents’ mobility, comfort, and independence. In this role, you’ll provide PTA services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, following established plans of care and documenting patient progress clearly and accurately.

Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering therapeutic interventions as outlined in the treatment plan
- Monitoring patient response and communicating updates to the PT and care team
- Completing timely, compliant documentation
- Supporting a safe, respectful care environment

Required qualifications/skills:
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Current PTA license (or eligibility) in the applicable state
- Strong communication, professionalism, and patient-first approach

A Typical Shift

Your day may start by reviewing the schedule and connecting briefly with the therapy team on priorities. You’ll move between resident rooms and therapy spaces, keeping sessions on track while adapting to how each person feels that day. Between visits, you’ll pause to update notes, coordinate with nursing or other disciplines, and reset for the next patient. As a PRN team member, you’ll appreciate the variety—different residents, different goals, and a steady focus on helping people make meaningful progress.
