Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA (Per Diem)

A Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant , (PTA), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Melville, NY. Once hired as a PTS employee, you may join as many of our PRN rosters our other locations in the area if you would like.

Huntington Hills Center for Health - Rehab is a 5 Star SNF located in Melville, NY. We are very easily accessible as we are located on the service road of the LIE. Overall, we are a very busy short term rehab and long term care units and you will be treating a blend of both patient populations. We have an extremely spacious rehab gym and a rehab team that excels clinically. We pride ourselves in having excellent patient outcomes. We are looking for a team player who works well within the rehab department as well as with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements:

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting.
