Position Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Oxford, NC 27565
Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule : 5 x 8-Hour Day Shifts (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Pay rate: 35-40$/hr.Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:- Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to patients.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercise programs and safe mobility techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic treatment environment.
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
- Current and active PTA license in North Carolina (or compact eligibility, if applicable).
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), Rehabilitation, or Post-Acute Care setting is preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (if required).
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
