    Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA)

    Hutchinson, KS

    We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore physical function. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality care.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
    • Provide therapeutic exercises and treatments as directed
    • Observe, record, and report patient responses and progress
    • Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and coordination
    • Educate patients and families on exercise programs and safety techniques
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
    • Collaborate with therapists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff

    Qualifications

    • Current Certified Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in good standing in Kansas
    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
    • Current CPR certification
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to motivate and support patients through their rehabilitation journey
    • Knowledge of therapy equipment, treatment procedures, and documentation standards
    • Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred
