DESCRIPTION

Whitney Rehabilitation is looking for full time or part time PTA's to join our dynamic, cutting edge Rehab department.

Job responsibilities:

· Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program or Certification by the University of the State of CT

· CT State Licensure.

· Performs Physical Therapy treatments as designated by the licensed Physical Therapist.

· Assists the Physical Therapist in determining treatment priorities, identifying goals and selecting appropriate treatment techniques. Establishes rapport and maintains professionalism in administering treatment to patients.

· Records patient’s modality treatments daily.

· Documents on CCP, as indicated.

· Assist with chart audits as directed.

· Writes progress notes as appropriate and reviews notes and goals with the Physical Therapist.
