Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contractual position to assist in implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients recover mobility, strength, and function.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the supervising PT
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records

Requirements:
- Active PTA license in the state of New Mexico
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current BLS certification
- Prior clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
