Schedule
Full-time or part-time opportunities available
Key Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of the Physical Therapist
Follow individualized treatment plans and physician orders
Document daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes in accordance with PT Board guidelines
Communicate patient progress with the therapy and interdisciplinary care team
Participate in care plan meetings and rehabilitation conferences as needed
Educate patients, families, and nursing staff on therapy programs and discharge planning
Assist with training restorative nursing aides when appropriate
Maintain therapy equipment and ensure the treatment area is clean and organized
Qualifications
Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
License must be in good standing
Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, or rehabilitation settings preferred
Familiarity with Casamba, PointClickCare, or similar EMR systems is a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for helping patients regain independence and mobility
