Description
The position involves working as a Physical Therapist Assistant in an outpatient setting, focusing on musculoskeletal conditions. 
This full-time role is based in Paterson, NJ, with a schedule from Monday to Thursday, 8:00am-6:00pm, and Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm. 
The position requires working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and involves using electronic health record systems.

Requirements
Active, unrestricted New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant license.
Current CPR/BLS certification from a recognized body.
Compliance with New Jersey Board of Physical Therapy Examiners' continuing competency requirements.
Completion of compliance training (e.g., HIPAA) before patient contact.
No current or pending licensure discipline or exclusion from Medicare/Medicaid.

Qualifications
Associate's degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Experience in outpatient orthopedic/musculoskeletal settings preferred.
Understanding of New Jersey scope of practice for PTAs.
Competence in therapeutic exercise, modalities, and functional training.
Strong communication skills with supervising PT and team members.
