    Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

    Salary Range: $26-$30 per hour

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our licensed Physical Therapists to provide quality care to patients in our skilled nursing facility, long-term care facility, and outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients who have suffered from Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and Stroke, and be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating and treating patients with a variety of conditions, including ABI and Stroke.

    - Implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including therapeutic exercises and activities.

    - Monitor and document patient progress, and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist.

    - Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to continue at home.

    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

    - Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in patient care.

    Qualifications:

    - Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program.

    - Current state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

    - Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

    - Experience working with patients who have suffered from ABI and Stroke.

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    - Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

    - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

    - Knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to patient care.
