    Position Title: Physical Therapist Assistant - Geriatric

    Salary Range: $28.03 - $30.81 per hour

    Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, no weekend rotation

    Job Summary:

    As a Physical Therapist Assistant at this facility, you will play a crucial role in helping our geriatric patients achieve their maximum physical potential and maintain their independence. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our patients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to determine their physical abilities and limitations

    - Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

    - Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients' strength, mobility, and range of motion

    - Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

    - Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue their progress at home

    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients

    - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient treatments and progress

    - Comply with all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

    Qualifications:

    - Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program

    - Current state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant

    - Minimum of 1 year of experience working with geriatric patients

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    - Strong organizational and time-management skills

    - Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

    - Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the field of physical therapy
